Today I washed a weekly clients Escalade and have tons of dried bugs on the front. I did what I could but not all came off and I didn't have anything that would get them off and I told her I would fine something that really worked and come back. So whats the best thing to use? I really haven't had good experiences with OTC products. Then again I haven't tried them all.

Clay should do it.
 
Have you tried Poorboy's Bug Squash? It does a really good job at removing bugs as well as a good pretreat for washing when diluted. I can't say that I've heard of many other bug removers.. other than one of those yellow Bug Blocks.
 
BMW335i I don't know why I didn't think of using clay, its worked for me before. It was 730am I was tired, that will be my excuse.

can I use the Sonus green(thats a fine clay isnt it) to get the bugs off or will I need a bar with a bit more bite?

Well Sonus green IS very mild...I would try it though, it should be able to remove the majority of the bugs with no marring.
 
The reason I ask is I am about to throw out my zaino clay cause its been around for a while and I don't think I should use it any more so I was looking to get some other clay. Do you have any suggestions? I might just get some more zaino, I never had a problem with it.
