Just got it in the mail (Napa around here doesn't have it) and Dayyyyyyyyyyymn. Car looks nice. Used it as a top coat over Collinite 845IW. Amazing gloss and Metallic pop. Having it over the collinite also gives it good depth.

The best part is, i just put it on about 30 minutes ago, and everytime i walk outside the car looks even BETTER! Must be curing.

I have a feeling this will be a product i recommend to a lot of people.

As far as other products go, i also got clearkote quick shine to replace my almost empty bottle of meguiars QD. Whiped the car off with it yesterday and i'm very happy with it.

i wish the carquest on my side of town had it, i talked to the guy on wednesday and he told me he should have had it by friday, call friday im told id get it on saturday, called saturday, i was told the guy is not here... :grrr . Lame a$$ cusotmer service i tell ya.

Im hopin they would have it my monday, cant wait to try it out

I just ordered right from duragloss. shipping is like $4, so it cost me $10-11 to try it out. Now that i like it, when i run out i'll order 3 or 4.

I'm uploading pics into photobucket as we speak

thats a sweet regal :up , too bad gm discontinued those cars. We have a 2001regal with the same amount of miles but its white. Hopefully ill get to try AW out next week

Nice! Looks great. So it does indeed bond over a carnauba containing wax.

Napa by me doesn't have it either but $4 for shipping is pretty fair.

Their QD is very nice and rivals QuickShine, Wizard's Mist and Shine and even FK 425.

PA this time of year is pollen city by me!

Eric

Pollen is absolutely terrible this year. The protection that the collinite and AW provides is absolutely neccecary with an outdoor car like mine. I'm waiting to see how the AW over the collinite performs in the rain. It rained a couple days ago when i just had the 845 on. By the time i got home it had stopped raining and my car was clean and dry. Prior to that i had taken it down a dusty dirt road and everything just blew off the car on the ride home.

For the record all i did to put the AW over the week old collinite was QD to remove any contaminants then apply the AW and whipe off with MF. It was as easy to apply as the QD was.

Haven't tried any other DG products yet, but i'll probably try their car wash shampoo after my current jug of E1 runs out.

I really like the job quick shine does, but i'll be up for trying the duragloss QD after that runs out. If it works as well for $6/22oz, it wins in my book.

Currently the products i'm absolutely in love with and won't change are collinite and 303 AP. The DGAW is still being tested but it looks like a winner. The NXT i used as a base coat is good, but i'm thinking of replacing it with megs 21 when i run out.

Oh, and i noticed DG sells by the gallon as well, so buy a sprayer bottle to test then if you like it order a gallon refil. Pretty economical solution if you can't find it OTC.

Hence my signature.

I think Tiger Mike and myself along with wannafbody and AL-53 are some of the original "AW" users (new acronym!). We can't sing enough praises.

I just got back from a detail where I used it and loaded up my supplies for tomorrow for another detail where I'll use it, and definately will be using it again on Memorial Day where I have a brand new Audi S4 to detail!

It's the new OCW - better looking and longer lasting.

Im going to have to try DAW. So far my favorette spray wax is Nano, I have to see if DAW is better. I know that Nano gives a very good wet look finish. If DAW gives the same finish and last longer then Nano then I can see it as the new flavor.

on the last thread about it there were a lot of impressive claims about longevity. That's what really turned me on to it. Figured i could get propetual protection without much effort using something this easy to use every so often after a wash.

Does it leave a poly or carnuba wax protection? I dont want to use a QD that contains any wax. I have FMJ as my LSP. I am now using Hgas and 425.

yeah silver isnt easy this is the best i could get my c320 with multiple layers of sq then trade secret and a few coats of 845.

Aquawax contains no waxes or oils. it's 100% synthetic. It is not a quick detailer, it is an actual sealant that will supposedly last quite some time.

Auqua wax will bond to a nuba with no problems?

I used it over five month old collinite 845. It might not work over an oily canauba but for $7 it's worth a try. I've had no problem using it over other sealants.
