BTW, Rich, not sure who you are on the forum, but I think you're the guy with the black truck. Thanks for the help washing my car :) I was the kid in the Black legacy. If you hadn't given me that brush for the lug nuts I wouldn't have known they were lose hah

It looks like you had a great time.

This was one of the best group of people I've had the pleasure to spend a weekend with :rockon even my wife , who goes out of her way to talk to everyone and question them, said that she was quite amazed at how nice everyone was :)

I really wanted to take a wack at that hood.. how did it come out?

the hood is shot the discolorization looks just like clear coat failure close up but the surface is smoth and tight, no etching or pin holes in the finish. its as if it was recleared over clear coat failrure

This has to be one of my favorite eye openers.............
138 degrees +
Then Rich does this, applyes Nattys liquid in direct sunlight

He then let it set up for over an hour............(in direct sunlight)
Wiped off like nothing, looked great !!!

Wax waster
Wiped off like nothing! ! ! !

Yes it did in fact it took less time to wipe the whole truck down then it took to wax the front clip.

Have I told you how much I like Poorboy's product...(in direct sunlight) I thing i'm turning Whore.
The Wax Miser

Some photos of my car before and after on Facebook. Login | Facebook

let me know if it doesn't work for you guys.

Thanks again for everyone's help, and it was good meeting you all. I learned a lot, and the car looks really good. Might do another coat of the Blue wax just to get a few spots I'm pretty sure that I missed.

Damn dude, got some hateful responses on FB lol. Dont sweat it. Most people just dont get it, dont care, or just want something to b*tch about. You should hear the warm reception I get from my wife when I finish a 30 hour detail and try to show her the pics :wall
Nice work :bigups

LOL yeah my friends love to bust my balls, especially about my car. I don't listen to what she says anyway lol but I think it's time to save up for a DA :D
Thanks man.

Names on faces PLEEEEZZZ!!!!!!!!! Supposed to be heat index 106+ here today and humid. At least the wind is blowing, but the humidity gets blown onto the floor of the machine shed where Im working, making it a skating rink. Nice pictures and stories guys and gals!!!

Some more photos, mostly trunk and hood ones (towards the last page of the album) for Gus. Wish I had good before shots, but trust me whatever you see there is a big improvement. More photos to come when the sun comes out!

Thanks again Gus and everyone else :)

Arwin, do you have a polishing machine of any sorts? If not. you should get at least a PC and concentrate on using a finishing polish such as SSR1 on a white polishing pad. You will be amazed once your paint is taken to that next level. I saw your hood before and it is a real big improvement, but now you should go after those holograms that you see around the flash of the camera. Great progress so far buddy!:bigups

Thanks a lot. Nah no machine, but I think I will grab one soon, and maybe the sample kit. Gus did use his new machine on the hood and trunk though with one of the SSRs (not sure the specifics). Birthday is coming up so maybe by the end of the month I"ll have a machine and some new polishes :D

Edit: Also I'm not exactly sure what it means to hologram lolol
