Thanks Matt! Those are 17x9.5" Borbet Type T's. I've had them since 4/01 and I don't think they still make them for f-body fitments anymore. The tirerack doesn't have them listed and that is where I bought them.



That is actually the pic on my business card and yes I blurred the background in photoshop.

Create a selection of the background using the freehand tool or the path tool (then create selection). Once bg is selected, choose filter>blur>gaussian blur and play with those settings to get desired blurry effect. Another fun tool is motion blur as it will allow you to make it look like the car is in motion. Practice, have fun and please post your results!

May I just say that is one beautiful piece of machinery; of course I am partial towards F-bodies!:xyxthumbs
 
good "apperance" upgrades are usually functional upgrades as well.



suggestions:

-the SS wheels look good, I saw the pics on your cardomain site

- suspension 1-2" lowering springs and good struts

- Do NOT do the clearcorners, upgrade you headlights to silver star bulbs or similar

- relace your antenna with a shorter on 8-10" in length

- have you thoght about taking off the stock plastic grille cover and leaving that area open. I ve seen it on the 99+ ones and it looked pretty good not sure about the pre 99 z28's

-slotted + drilled rotors and a bigbrake upgrade would look pretty sweet, but that is really a performance mod..
 
I already changed the bulbs to higher wattage ones. 93-97 F-bodies do not have a removable center grille, the whole front bumper cover is one piece.

Matt, I forgot one in my last post, how about a power antenna, I did not see that in your mod list. I love this mod, it look so much cleaner.

How the hell are 35th anniversary stripes rice? I guess Chevy is a domestic rice company for releasing cars with stripes on them :rolleyes:
 
tkajeff - that does look alot cleaner, but I think I'll just stick with the antenna I have for now...

I think that he maybe means that if they are on a 35thann car that is ok, but on any other Camaro it just aint right?



I dont like them on the 93-97 camaros, I wouldnt do stripes if I where you.. Less is more;)
 
Yeah I understand the point, but it is in NO way rice. That's like saying every appearance mod out there is rice. When did I say it would make my car faster? :nixweiss

I just meant they would be more flashy than necessary, its your car so do whatever you want, but I believe it would detract from the overall look
