Im currently looking for a good product to use to clean tires, and wheel wells...I was looking into Amazing Rolloff because it said it wouldnt harm my wheels in case a little got onto them. I have heard the stuff doesnt smell good...but how does it perform? Thanks in advance - Josh
The stuff is impossible to find locally so I got some via mail order and I've been pleased with it.
My sense of smell isn't what it used to be (an old war wound) but it certainly is a mile less than Castrol APC. That stuff (Castrol) makes even me gasp and I accidently got some overspray on my chest once. Yup, smoother than a baby's bottom and summer's coming so I'm going to try it on my back next.
Amazing Roll Off cleans just about everything very safely, tires, wheels, plastic, convertible tops. It's been huge in the boat area for years and car owners are just starting to use it more now.
Remember it's activated by water so it's a natural for tires, wheels, and wheel wells.
Would I buy it again? Sure, without question.
I only go to the Castrol APC if the Amazing Roll Off doesn't work, but I hardly use the Castrol any more.
I researched tire cleaning a while ago and quite a few other boards, strange ones like Corvette boards, also speak highly of Westley's Bleche White for tire/rubber cleaning but I can't find that here locally either.
Finally, I'm not implying that Corvette owners are strange at all, it's just strange for me to look there for info since I don't own a Corvette.
