Hello all, Love this forum. I'm not a 'detailer' but I absolutely LOVE the reward of a clean car...even if it's not mine. If I had the gonads to quit my day job I would take up detailing as a FT job. For now though, I'll do my cars and relatives friends etc....
Today, I have a wide collection of OTC products. Mothers Clay, Meguires polish and carnuba, Meg's GC wax, NXT 2.0, target MF, target pads, MF wash mits , 2 buckets, absorber, chamois etc etc...
I can't afford just to splurge at once and buy the whole package of stuff I need. However, I am eyeing one of the PC 7424 deals. I deally, I would like to get one of the packages that comes with a few pads, and some polish. I have 2 black cars (mine and wifeys) Mine is an 07 GTI and hers is 08 mazda 5.
Question is: Which polish and /or combination of polish, sealant, wax are the best for black paint. I know this has been discussed as I searched and saw some threads about black paint, so my other question is: Is the PC still the tool of choice? Is the Flex or UDM a better choice?
