I have a black Hyundai Santa Fe. Five weeks ago I put the third and final coat of Poorboy's EX on the vehicle. From that datum point there have been rain days and always I have used S&W to clean up the car - followed up with a variety of QD's.
Of the lot - Showtime, EO, Platinum, 3M Gloss Enhancer and QS - the 3M product has given me the best results - the car is almost TOO shiny. That said, I still have most of a gallon on ClearKote's Quik Shine (at $38.00 plus $8.00 shipping), and I feel compelled to use it. And it streaks.
With the other QD's applied in my incandescent lit garage, pulling them outside in the sun shows no problems. With QS, I'll have to "touch up" the streaks with a firmly applied MF.
Am I the only one with this problem? Is it me or the paint?
