A guy called me today and setup an apointment to polish the 25' pontoons on his brand new pontoon boat. I have done it on crappy pontoons before and use my high speed buffer and either metal polish or medium cut compounds and a wool pad.

I told him $150 and this was based on an hour and half each side. I do not have to polish the insides of the pontoon.

You know who can answer this one is Charles he posted pics of his pontoon boat....to me its always based on time...if you can get this done in three hours I think you priced it right....one thing that I have started doing is giving a range with a $50 padding either way...I find that I don't walk away from some jobs feeling like I worked for nothing, because it took me allot longer than I estimated...I haven't had one person say anything about it

Yeah sounds like a good price if it only takes 3 hours. Have you seen what kind of condition these boats are in? I dont do to many boats, so im not totally sure, but most people charge by the foot.
