Hello everybody! Just did this beautiful car today, took me about 11-12 hours

Black 2006 Dodge Charger sxt.

Yes, I am addict. I love the looks of a fresh polished and waxed car...

For my friend, he wanted me to make it more shiny because it was just looking old and tired, so today i was up for fun!

Car had lots of swirls but was hard to catch them on camera.

Roof required extra correction from water spots with twisted wool pad and m105, then orange pad 105 DA. then power finish white pad. (about 70% corrected, looked much better)

Dewalt rotary,

Makita rotary,

Griots Garage DA

Meguiars blue clay

ONR

dawn soap

foam gun

Eagle 2000 sand paper

Trizak 3000 sanding disc

Twisted wool pad

Surbuff pads

LC orange, white pads

m105

Mezerna power finish

black wow

steel wool

tire gloss.

Lots of microfiber towels

After wet sanding was complete best method to tackle that areas was twisted wool pad and m105, then just like the rest of the car received surbuff pad and m105 then white LC pad and power finish.

plastic was treated with black wow, I heard that ex-creme glaze amps up the gloss on black cars so i did this killer combo of ez-creme glaze applied by LC blue pad and black fire was applied by black pad and DA.

Paint defiantly got more glossier!

He didnt asked me to wet sand the hood and the bumper but i just did it because hes my friend and i had lots of fun working on this car. (reason: repainted a while ago and had orange peel and like 400 sanding marks in one area.) Ill tell you guys his reaction tomorrow!

Looks great! Good to see you enjoy your work, and have a lot of enthusiasm for your finished product. Congrats.

After reading your post I completley forgot I used ez-creme on the magnum I did as well..lol

I think I use this stuff every car I do, (love it) so I must have forgot. It works as a great paint cleanser, adds pop and some great slickness with anti-static properties.

nice job!

Yeah i does, thank you!

your after pix leave much to be desired. Gritty/dark photos and the ones with water drops aren't conveying the execution especially consideirng how much effort went into it. Since he's your friend, see if you can grab some better afters on a clear day.
