Altima makeover and a Z06 *56K*

GOT PREP?
This Nissan Altima has been well cared for, but needed a thorough detail before being taken to the dealership for trade. A lot of my clients have their vehicles detailed before trade or sale to take away bargaining power from the stealership, or to fetch top dollar in a private sale.

Before:

Deep scratches in the door…

Full shot (sorry the hood is popped)

These shots are after being detailed. I put the adhesive floor mats in so that the owner could simply pull them up before taking the vehicle into trade.

Process was:

HT HC via PC @speed 6

Menzerna PO106FF via PC @speed 6

NXT paste (customer request)

Tires wear Meguiars Hot Shine gel

Interior was steamed, vacuumed, extracted, etc. I used nothing but water to clean the interior—no chemicals

Engine was degreased then dressed with Hyperdressing 4:1

Here’s a shot of the scratches after being touched p about 25 timers, sanded, then buffed with HT HC, then Menzerna PO106FF

Next up is a black Z06the interior was in great shape, but the paint was heavily swirled and needed correction.

HT EC *OHC* 50/50 on a green LC CCS pad @1500 RPM’s (great combo)

Menzerna PO106FF via PC and a white LC LP 5.5 pad

Meguiars #21 via PC @speed 4

Tires wear Meguiasr Hot Shine Gel

Wheels sealed with Wheelwax

Altima looks great! Nothing wrong with NXT paste, personally, I think it is a great wax.

I am guessing the owner was a younger person, seeing as a cold air intake was installed.

If that Vette was pretty swirled up, it sure isn't now! :bow

I have nothing against NXT paste either--it's a fine product. I only added the comment becasue I usually I use #21 and figured that some may waonder why I switched for this particular car. :D

The owner actually manages another speed shop in town and his wife drives the car. He's probably around 25 or so....

Great work on both cars!!!

I would also like to know where you get the floor mat covers! It's a great touch!!

Good work as usual! How aggressive was EC+OHC? Pretty potent. Professional Steamer + Extractor are money!

Pretty potent, works really well for heavy defect removal while still allowing you to go straight to a final polish.

Turn-arounds look absolutely stunning. Great work, as always man. The vette looks great, but oh wait... They always do! (nothing against you!)

Altima turned out amazing as well.
