I'm having a bit of a love-hate relationship with #81. I love the look that #81 (and its sibling #7, and heck even DC Step 2) gives me. And sometimes it seems to go on and off without difficulty. But on the weekend I did a big detail on my Z and had some smearing problems on removal of #81, and I think it transferred over to my subsequent removal of NXT afterwards as well. Made for a bit of frustration.
I was wondering what other polishes I should try that may give similar looks, but are easier to use.
Ones that come to mind off the top of my head:
- Clearkote Vanilla Moose
- P21S Gloss Enhancing Paint Cleanser (I actually have a bottle of this in my arsenal, just haven't tried it yet... d'oh!)
- Menzerna Final Polish
I'm sort of getting into a routine using #83 DACP (which I'm fairly happy with) and sometimes #82 SFP, and I'm using NXT lately as my protection coat. Will the other glaze-type products I mentioned above be just as compatible as the #81 in this case?
Any other suggestions on similar products I should try? I'm not really going to run out and get one of everything. Obviously I already own GEPC so that's a no brainer that I'll be trying that anyway. But long term I know it'll be more expensive and harder to get, at least here.
