Alternative to Klasse sealant?

I'm after a durable sealant for both silver and gray metallic cars and was considering the Klasse (not the AIO). However, I'm reading more and more negative comments about the Klasse and how there are better products out there.

So what are the better sealants out there?! My main concern is durability -- I want something that'll last up to a year. I'll be applying/buffing with a PC. Any suggestions?

I used klasse AIO and Sealant for the last 10 years. I have switched to Menzerna and have found the same ease of use and duribility but 10x's more depth. Its expensive but well worth it.

Werkstatt AJ is supposedly similar to SG, but much easier. Both are acrylic so I would assume the durability is similiar. :nixweiss

I have never used SG, but I do us AJ and it is not difficult at all. I also use AJT and it is even easier and it's supposed to be as durable as AJ.

Pip: I've got both Jefffs Acrylic and Klasse. I've used Klasse for years and will probably park the container now that I have Jeffs. I haven't tried the others but suspect they would all compare well. You may not need the power after you've done polishing. I did one car with an air polisher, the other w/o ...w/o was almost as fast for me.

Getting 6 months out of a sealant would be best case scenario, depending on if you garage the car and weather conditions

Im not sure of its extended durability, but something similiar to SG I have recently used was Einzetts Glanz Wax.

Werkstatt's is prob the cloests thing to the Klasse twins. Only difference being it's much easier to use and the gloss it produces is much better then klasse, in my opinion at least. Then theres the Zaino, Z2 and Z5 pro. A cheap alternative would also be Duragloss Aquawax. For the price you can't go wrong.

Hmmm, I guess I'm following the wrong forum leaders, that must be some really special Menzerna. What is your way of application.:bow :spit:

Why do you need a year of protection? Just find a quick spray enhancer (AJT, AW, Z8) and you can for the most part drag out the durability as long as you want.

I guess I'll give AJ or DG 105 a go... any surface prep I should be aware of (other than clay-bar and polish)?

I'd love to try Zaino but the interdependency of all the products scares me... to use Z2 I also have to by the flash cure and make sure the surface is prepped by washing with another Zaino product after first polishing with yet another Zaino product... it all sounds a little too much like a money pit to me. Zaino sounds like a killer set of products but I'm not *that* concered about perfection!

Thanks for all the comments.

I hear there are better products, but I am not sure if these comments are coming from folks who have used the KSG or are they the ones who make the common mistake of putting to much on?

I would love to hear from folks who have been succesful with KSG (loved it) and then found something better.
