My original dual xenon had been forgotten on the charger for long periods of time too.It still reached what I guess was its life expectancy.

admac said:I know this is an old post but I just wanted to let folks know that I found a battery pack replacement for the Brinkmann Dual Xenon lights. I have three of them. One of them was still working, one had died from being left off charge for too long but it was used for a while. The third one I never ended up taking out of the package for a few years and it was predictably dead. I found the battery replacements and just finished swapping all three batteries (even the working one since it's still 5 years old. The replacement was pretty easy except for the plastic curved part at the top. Once I figured it out I replaced the next two batteries in about five minutes. The batteries are $9.95 from Batteryspec.com. They're all working and charging right now.
Just thought some folks would like to know. I know you can replace the whole light these days for <$30 but I'm fond of this model and $10 is cheaper than $30.
