Alternative to a finesse block

I am going to follow this guide (Car Care Specialties, Inc. - Your Source For Quality Car Care Products, How-To Articles and Product Evaluations.) to fix two small stone chips on my vehicle. However, the instruction calls for the Meguiar's Finesse Block, which despite a lot of effort I am still unable to locate. Does any one know what's a good alternative to the Meguiar's Finesse Block? I am going to be performing the entire process by hand and it seems the Finesse Block is the key to sand down the excess paint that I would put on the stone chips.

Thank you for any helpful opinion or hints.

Thanks Setec Astronomy. However, I forgot to mention that I am located in Canada and the finesse block seems to have gone extinct up north. In the case I can't find it in Canada, is there an alternative to the finesse block?

I think so, but I don't know what it is. What I mean is, I think I remember that other mfrs. make those bonded grit blocks, but I can't remember who they were or where to get them. There is also a Meg's sponge block that has no grit, and you wrap a sheet of Unigrit paper around it...perhaps you can find that up in the Great White North.
