(Only trying to think out of the box)

Has anyone tried to use the waterless hand sanitizer as a cleaner? I just figured it might make sense because it’s mostly alcohol, wouldent drip that badly. And im thikning you could get lots of it for cheap.

And of course, theres the potential to actually eat off of the motor afterwards.
 
I've never seen that stuff for sale "cheap", but I guess there must be someplace that sells it in gallon or larger sizes.



I personally think there are any number of cleaners out there that will work better and would be cheaper than hand sanitizer. I usually carry some of that stuff around with me, but I've never been impressed with its' cleaning ability when used in a pinch on dirty/greasy hands.
 
I guess if your trying to disinfect your engine for dining purposes have at it! But A+ for thinking outside the box.
