Hey Autopians,

Some of you might know me some of you might not. I was heavy into the detailing forms but took a break, but now I`m back!

I`m an enthusiast detailer meaning that I take as much time as I want when I detail (it`s all about the results not profit). I occasionally detail for profit on the side but I have no intentions of switching careers (currently an IT Project Manager).

For those that don`t know me I`m an "Americanadian" meaning I`m a dual citizen that grew up American. I`m from small town called "Tubac" in AZ but am now living in Montreal, Canada (have so for 10+ years). I daily drive my 2009 Jeep SRT8 year-round and race it as often as I can. I`ve removed 90-99% of my orange peel (leveled the clear) using denim CarPro pads and I detail my SRT8 on a weekly basis when it`s warm enough (40f and up). During the winter months I step it down to once a month with frequent visits to the touch-less car wash in-between.

Last fall (2016) I re-polished with CarPro Essence on using a Boss 21 and some 5.5inch orange HD pads in perpetration to nano ceramic coat the entire exterior with WG Uber. The durability of WG Uber over the winter has been nothing short of exceptional and the water behaves like the day I coated it after washing with CarPro Reset.

I`m looking to try out some new products in 2017 mainly from Polish Angel and possibly IGL coatings or Kamikaze.

I`ll be posting up some more reviews that I never got around to posting last year...

Lastly I`m looking to meet more local people (in Montreal) who detail and attend car shows to share knowledge products and fun times detailing cool cars offline!

My name is, John Rogers. and I`m glad to be back!

Welcome back John!

Get yourself some Kamikaze Overcoat to top off your Uber coating and I guarantee you`ll be impressed! Love the SRT8

Welcome back! Was wondering where you had run off to. Enjoyed reading your threads about the orange peel removal.

Took a break my self for a while, i`ll just say it`s good to be back here among my "internet friends"

Sir, you mentioned in your paragraph that you used the Denim Carpro pad to eliminate orange peel. I have Carpro velvet pads I have yet to use. Please sir, what products and pads did you use. I have a PC7424XP and other DA`s. I am curious, are you satisfied with the correction from the Denim pads?
