I have used Aquawax on two vehicles now and I still don't know what to think. It seems too effortless to be true. I applied to a car today, and shortly after got a burst of rain. The rain didn't seem to bead any differently than when there was NO wax on the car. The only benefit it seems to be giving to the cars I've used it on is a nice coconut smell. It's been so hyped on here, but so far I'm not impressed. I haven't seen rain on my wife's car yet (AW over SGx2), and when I do maybe that will convince me. I'm just not sure this stuff is any good yet.

in the first case the polymers may not have set up and may have wahed off. Can you tell a difference in look on the second car?

I think I may be moving on from AW also. I don't seem to have any slickness after washing with either ONR or QEW despite the fact that I use AW every week. No matter what I do I can't seem to keep the towels from dragging as if the surface was covered with contamination. Although it seems like a little thing when I think of how easy the application is and how great the looks are but I can't get over how much more difficult it is to wash the car. Since I can't live without ONR/QEW it looks like I might be going back to PW on a monthly basis rather than AW after every wash.

Not everyone is going to like the results of a product and that's good. That's why there are so many choices out there. By the time we try them all we will all be old and broke anyway.

Personally I have not found a better wax anywhere and over the years I have tried many. That doesn't mean that I may not find another I like even better on down the road. The searching and testing is never ending in this game of " Mine looks better than yours!!", Lol. Mike

Personally, AW has performed very nicely for me. I use it after every wash or after using PB S&W to get my lsp (a sealant like EX or carauba like victoria or souveran) that extra slickness and wet look. My secret go-to along with PB S&W :hifive: .
