pampos- That's a great save! Really turned out supert :xyxthumbs

This is the one where you needed 7-8 passes with the IP, right? Considering the before condition, that wasn't all that much work. Yeah, you coulds sped things up with something like the PFW pads and a more aggressive product, but IMO what you did was OK as you were correcting it so gradually that you woulda caught any "oops, went too far!" before it got too serious.

Yes is that one....

What are the PFW pads and which product that is more aggressive i should use with a DA polisher??

PFW= (LC brand) Purple Foamed Wool. See my thread about using the 3.5" ones on a PC in the Machine Polishing Forum. Even an orange foam pad would be a bit more aggressive than that green LC one.

The harshest stuff I've tried by DA is 1Z Intensive Paste. It's aggressive enough that you have to be a little careful about its initial bite- it can even leave deep individual scratches when (mis-)used by hand

Thats nice...Where i can find those pads??Also i have some questions for you that i posted them at the ''soft/hard'' paint thread...Can you check it please??

next week i will top the sealant with another layer...Do you suggest to use the Danase sealant or it is better to use some carnauba wax??

I myself prefer carnaubas on paints like that.

Time for my self to learn something new :)

What are the advantages of using carnaubas on paints like that??

I just prefer how they look, and they do a little concealing of (very) minor flaws.

Nice work pampos!!!

I too would use a carnauba since that car doesn't look like it has any flake in it.

Do you suggest to apply some more DWG before carnauba or it is better to apply it above the sealant??
