Could I substitute alcohol with 100% Mineral Spirit? I have this leftover from my paintjob. I know Mineral Spirits are for wipedowns also during painting cars...

I could be wrong, and others might say that it is perfectly safe, but there is no way I would ever put mineral spirits on my paint, or my customers cars..:waxing:
I know that you are putting it on the clear (not the same as the paint) but still...
