AJT just NOT doing it for me

No, I'm 19 so it's really my first and only vehicle. But I've read up on these boards more than enough to know how to apply the sealant. Spritz the panel lightly (one spritz for panel), take MF and buff till residue is gone.

19 with a 335! wow, where do you work?

I love AJT (on top of Poliseal or Optiseal on silver is hot!) and haven't read the entire thread yet...I'll be willing to take it off your hands for a fair price if youre interested.

How long did you wait for it to cure? The re-painted area.

The work was done in mid April. So more than 3 months.

I just like 845 more....the paint feels like butter (almost literally), and the beading is just extraordinary. Call me silly, but I need to have some sort of sensory confirmation that there IS protection on my vehicle.

AJT isn't all that bad....but it's just not for me. When you apply it, it's almost as if you are just rubbing it back off. I've had the most success so far with liquid waxes.

I think something was up with the contamination you were dealing with. I've never had that issue with AJT - it doesn't bead well that is for sure, but I've always found it sheets very well and protects very well. Either way though, glad poliseal is working for you!

I used to get these spots on my rear end when I had stock BMW pads. Since I went to aftermarket pads, they seem to have quite appearing for the most part. Do yourself a favor and get some ceramic pads, they dust less and stop better.
