Air Compressor

Was thinking of investing in a mini air compressor that I could use to get water out of the tight spots on the car and that I could use around the house (to fill up pool floats, etc.). Can anyone recommend one? Thanks.

Hmmm. Get a leaf blower. I bought a 6 gallon air compressoing tank for 150 at home depot. At 100 psi that thing worked great for blowing air off cracks. But any less and you spent a lil longer in that certain area. Sounds good right? Only problem is my 6 gallon tank ran out of psi quickly and the only running psi the 2hp compressor gave was about 25psi... I still use it for filling up inflatables, tires, ect, but for blowing water offf cracks, its much easier to buy a 40 dollar electric leaf blower, which I already had before the comrpressor anyway...

You can always just buy a bigger tank, but they run to be more expensive and still run run out of air leaving you with w/e the compressor can produce.

I carry the Metro Vac line. They are great as vacuums, blowing water out of panels and inflators. They also have just a blower with no vacuum.

I second the vote for the Metro Air Force Blaster blowers. Also, they're fantastic for drying your dogs after bathing them. This site: http://www.airwand.com/ is for another tool for the same purpose. I currently use the Autodry system and don't need to contend with drying anymore.

Be careful with the airwand. Do some research on Autopia first. I have thought about this product too, but my search results show too many negative posts, but see for yourself.
