AIO.. I'm not sure how it works .. maybe someone can fill me in . Is it a type of glaze/polish thats abrasive and it polishes out swirls etc or is it a polymer that more fills the swirls? I seem to see postings saying both. Sorry if this is a stupid Q its just that it seems to fall in the "Jack Of All Trades" catigory.. TYIA

It is a paint cleaner and a base for future sealants. It can clean your paint of oxidation and other dirt that just sticks. It is not a car wash. It is a very light polish that will clean the paint and prep it for a sealant. It will not remove tar and sap so clay is still required as part of proper prep work. It won't do much for swirls so a swirl remover is required if that is your objective as well. Basicly it is just a paint cleaner.

And by "paint cleaner" he means a light polish, not something that is used for "cleaning" in the way you'd clean up your kitchen or something. ;)

It's called "All In One" because it both lightly polishes and removes oxidation, and leaves some protection behind, even though it may be minimal. I like to think of it as a stronger cleaner wax, since that is what it acts like.

Yeah, it's a product for cleaning your paint (and plastic trim, too) and prepping for subsequent sealants and/or waxes. Fits in as follows: wash car, clay, use polish to remove swirls, USE AIO to REALLY clean and prep paint, apply final sealants and/or waxes.

It does virtually NOTHING for swirls. It is virtually NON-abrasive and *I* don't see it doing any filling either. While, like Jngrbrdman *I* prefer clay for tar removal, AIO DOES clean it off (I *JUST* used some for that on the S8's rockers this morning).

Great product with MANY uses. A good thing to have on hand. Only downside is its limited durability/protection unless topped with something.

AIO does remove tar, but after an hour of trying to remove some pretty nasty tar spray on the side of the car with AIO I broke out the tar remover and it just wiped right off. lol That'll teach me to try using AIO for everything anymore. AIO was taking it off, but the tar remover did it about 10 times faster.

Yeah, I was going for expediency too, but in my case it was easier to just hit it a little harder with the AIO. NASTY tar (and sap) really does call for solvents and/or clay. It can be tempting to take the "ALL IN ONE" name a little too literally.

Pushing the limits of AIO is what I love to do. I love seeing what it can do so I can compare it to other products. I've used it to clean off paint swaps, rust from chrome, oxidation, glass, I've even used it on my bathtub and tile in the shower. :lol Its a pretty versitile product. There is usually a product out there that will do the same thing and occasionally there are products that do the job even better. Its always nice to know what AIO is capable of. I love product testing. :D

LOL, pretty soon you're going to be giving those pile of dirty dishes in the sink funny looks. :D

It was suggested to me I could go from DACP to AIO with a white pad and it would clean up any hazing, is this the case guys?

It is not bad advice.

If you have substantial 'hazing' you may not have worked the DACP long enough.

Assuming this is your personal vehicle, I would DACP (with the PC RO) , wash the car well, and THEN use Klasse AIO and the white pad.

If you STILL see smears, use a QD and rub viqoursly with a MF towel.

Thin. Write that down. Thin.
