AIO with PC

Hey guys, im having some trouble with this combo, using a white pad. First of all, how much AIO should i actually put on, a dime sized dab or 2? Load it up? Also, when i go to spread it on 3.5, how far should i expect it to go ie half a hood, entire door panel? And lastly, i find when i crank it up to 5-6, i actually get it to put down a nice even coat? Is this correct? Last question (ok i lied), how many passes should i do on a panel before i can wipe it off? Just 1 to spread it, work it over a couple times till it dries and disappears, what? Thanks a lot, much appreciated, doin a few cars this weekend.

When I've done AIO with a PC, I've found that it goes a lot easier if I spritz the pad with some quick detailer, to keep it moist.

I'll normally put about a nickle or quarter sized dab of AIO for the first dab, and then use about a dime or nickel sized dab after that. Each time I add AIO, I spritz the pad with the QD also. Using too much will simply make the orbital harder to remove, will make buffing off harder, and will use up more AIO (think $$$).

Each dab, plus a spritz or two of QD, should do an entire panel.

Going at a higher speed doesn't hurt anything. I normally run at about 4.5-5, myself.

Normally I go over each section 4 times. I go North-South, then East-West, then North-South again, then East-West again. By this time, it's thinned out, but it certainly hasn't gone away. By going over each point 4 times, the coverage and appearance is very uniform.

What kind of trouble are you having?

Just wondering if im useing the right ammount, and working it in the correct ammount of time, yea sorry, i was thinkin that DACP almost disappeared, were talkin AIO here...what QD do you use? The sonus or megs FD?

Actually, I use Griot's Garage Fast Shine. I use the Sonus to clean up any hazing or residue from the Klasse SG, but I use the Griot's for applying the AIO.
