AIO, then S100

Mmmph

Mad Detailer
I was looking at the Autopia store and noticed this kit,

http://autopia-carcare.com/aupeshkit.html

AIO, followed by S100 are components of the "perfect shine". I also saw the thread by F1Crazy regarding AIO and S100/P21S.

While my love of S100 is widely known, I'm always looking for more for my Black Onyx RX 300. The perfect shine sounds good.

Klasse + S100...without SG?

Can anyone else share experience with this combo?

You will get :up :bounce when you do this. It (AIO) is a replacement for SEPC. The advantages is that AIO longevity and uv protection ect. The "search" will give you many samples.

This is the original article that made me try AIO and P21S and skip SG: Klasse-Pinnacle kit .

While durability may suffer compared to adding a coat or two of SG I noticed that the look is more liquid and I don't mind adding P21S every 6-8 weeks. The amount of work to put AIO and then SG, wait for it to cure and then add a carnauba topper is just not worth it for me.

I don't treat AIO as a replacement for GEPC/SEPC, it's the final step of paint preparation and it follows GEPC.

Give it a try. I have done it in the past, with not only ps21/s100 but souveran too. Remember AIO cleans and protects and leaves a nice shine. SG will add to the durability (and some shine), but if you do not mind waxing (who does not;) ) more often, you are set.

Mmmph,

I have used this combo before on my jet black 7 with great results.

Here is a pic with AIO topped P21S taken August 2002.

I also have had great results with Poorboy's EX Sealant topped with Souveran. Here is a pic of the EX/Souveran Combo.

The AIO topped with P21S seems to be more reflective/refractive and the EX topped with Souveran seems to be more deep, wet and liquid looking.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,

My Black 7 Series
