AIO or ColorX under IW?

Hey guys I'm about to do a full detail on my car heres my process.



Wash

Clay

Opt Comp by green Propel

Opt Polish by blue Propel

AIO/ColorX

IW



Now I'm just not sure on which to use, AIO or ColorX. Any opinions?

never used AIO but Colorx looks very nice under 845

Would you recommend an alcohol wipe down before I apply 845?

Thanks for the replies, right now I have both Color X and AIO. My car is a silver IS300, any recommendations?

haven't used aio yet, but i will say that i was pretty impressed with colorx (probably my fave megs product), and that means alot as i'm pretty picky... :chuckle:

ColorX is a bit deeper looking. Also imo is stronger in cleaners and does have very light abrasives.

Won't make a huge difference either way since you'll be covering the paint with #845IW anyway.

agreed. as far as abrasiveness... colorx falls in between #6 and #66 in the professional mirror glaze line. #66 being more aggressive cause it can be used by rotary, while colorx can't.

Which pad should Color X and AIO be applied with?

a polishing pad would give you the best cleaning ability
