aio and 845

I applied 845 today, and I think I need to apply some klasse aio to get rid of some fine scratches. This is useless as of this ooint, correct, because I applied the 845 first.

Also, if I apply klasse aio than apply 845, the aio will act as a sealer and the 845 will act like a wax, correct. The reason I want my paint so protected is because of all the salt on the roads here. Last, what is that bottle of zymol cleaner wax I have laying around good for?

KAIO won't do much in the way of scratch removal, as its polishing component is mostly a chemical cleaner (non abrassive).

Applying KAIO will remove any 845, so I think you've got the order straight in your head. Apply KAIO as a prep/base, then 845 as a topper.

As noted, I wouldn't expect the KAIO to remove any marring. It's functionally nonabrasive on most autotpaint IME. But it will cut throuh the 845 if you're a little aggressive about it. Sounds like you really need to use a regular (mildly abrasive) polish though..

Despite its name, IMO the protective qualities of AIO are virtually nil, it won't add anything appreciable to the mix in that regard. Yeah, it leaves some protection behind, but not much. If you want good winter protection, just reapply more 845 after each of the next few washes. 845 is a *LOT* more durable that AIO.

Same sort of thing you use AIO for, a bit of cleaning with a (very little) bit of protection.
