I was reading an article on the restoration of anodized speciality wheels like thoses used on modern exotic automobiles . this article was in the Mercedes-enthusiast so you know it has to be approved and do the job well. The name of the company's product is called Aglaze from (Auto chemical Holding in the UK. They make other products for detailing but these two seemed to hit the mark for enthusiast who must drive with the soft dealer brake pads that create much dust and sutt.
After many emails to the company www.aglaze.com I was able to get some samples to try out. I am waiting to try cleaning some M-Bmw Wheels since that is what this product was made for and the alloy wheel spray protector that build a barier to fresh brake dust so it can slide off the wheel like pam on cooking pans.
Admittely wheel cleaning is a problemmatic part of detailing and one of the first things a detailer must handle in the wash process. A lot of strong wheel cleaners can strip and damage expensive wheels in seconds . A Glaze was developed to clean and properly care for expensive alloy wheels that are jewerely to many automobles.
