Aghhhh paint stripper on my car

Luckily in the States you can purchase a gun. (Maybe not the best example!)



In my opinion, I would set up a hidden camera to run throughout the night. Keep video taping each night. You may get "lucky" and catch the creep who is doing this.



There are cameras / tapes you can purchase to set this up.



I see it all the time on TV shows where people catch an abusive nanny or a roomate stealing something, etc...

I've always thought that some so-called people are plagues on humanity, but I don't like to think about it....





Isn't there some way for you to buy back your Alfa as a "wreck"? I'm pretty sure I have heard of people doing this in the US, I'm not sure about in the UK.

Really sorry to hear this Tw@t has struck again at your car,seems like a coward to me.

But you can never be too careful,I totaly agree with everyone else you should beef up your security,starting with the cctv system,will your employers pay for a passive infared camera? As it will catch him at night I am fairly sure the Police/CPS need colour for it to stand up in court,but unless hes a complete moron he will have a hood or baseball cap on,soif you see anything I feel a call to the police in order because the only way this is going to stick is if hes caught red handed.Dont be a hero.

Get a door chain/limiter,can you 'borrow' someones big dog and be seen with it at your house,I always carry a large maglight torch in the car for 'ahem' breakdowns and of course if its dark there is no reason why you shouldnt be carrying one in your hand.you can get them from most camping shops,millits ect but the may have to order in a really big one for you,just dont get such a large one that its a pain to carry.

I can also recommend any book by the no nonsense self defence guru Geoff Thompson do your self a BIG favour a check out his books.his website used to be www.summersdale.com not looked at it for a while might be woth doing a search on the net.

There is lots more but this gives a fair indication of the damage. All the specks are paint which is simply flaking away. The car is dirty and needs a clean and I have no photographic skills.

If terrible retribution wasn't such an unrealistic fantasy I'd be screaming for it.....
 
Best of luck to you, be safe. Have you considering moving your family to a safer location in the mean time, until you have resolution? Definitely get somwe primer and paint on that car if you dont want it to start rusting right away.
 
This person has got some real bad issues and I hope this pain in the back side get caught and get what he deserves in the end and that this all comes to a speedy conclusion.

This happened to a friend of mine before as well... Some guy sprayed (used an aerosol stripper) paint stripper on his car forming the "F" You word on his car, but it wasn't obvious at first since it was winter and he doesn't take that much care about his car, but it still was a nice car... When he finally brought it to a drive through wash, the paint stripped off and formed the whole statement... Black car, white text... it's quite obvious.
 
wow I just found this thread and was wondering if anything was resolved? How horrible man I am sorry to see all this. Hope the guy falls and breaks his neck on his way to the courtroom, heck maybe someone could accidently bump him down a flight of stairs...
