Aghhhh car keyed

Violent and abusive behaviour, body builder, doorman - this all says 'steroid-user' to me.

If I ever found out it was him, it wouldn't be a needle up his A55, it'd be a bottle of NXT!! (you've seen the shape of those bottles haven't you?!) :D

I mean, doing that to someones property, he must be the lowest of low lifes, infact, that's stooping lower than a snakes belly IMO!

Hey don't feel bad, I know someone who got their beutiful '63 Corvette gouged all the way down the trunk with a can opener.

Steven,

I feel your pain. Don't know if this'll help but you could try talking to Dave Bush at Classic Coachcraft in Prudhoe (which I think isn't a million miles from you?)

He's a real nice guy and from what I saw when I visited him does good work. Mention Andrew from Aon Insurance and who knows, he might do a "cash" deal or something.

As for your axe wielding idiot - hire a JCB and flatten the **** is what I say. Morons like that will end up moving onto people sooner or later. Sounds like "roid rage" to me.

Let us know how you get on (with mending your pride & joy, not killing Mr Stupid)

From the description of the damage, you car wasn't keyed. It sounds more like it was axed!

Sorry to hear of your problems.

I give you credit, because if it was my car i would have went up to him and asked him about it. Axe or no axe. He would not have a chance to use it anyway. but thats me, i always do something stupid like that.

There are several good things to come out of this.

1. We were right to dismiss this madman in the first place

2. A man who pretends to live alone to avoid paying child maintenance is vulnerable.

3. A man who is not registered as a doorman is not likely to keep his job for very long

4. Has this man declared his doorman work to the tax inspector.

5. Is it my social responsibility to inform the relevant government sections about tax avoidance? Yes

6. If this man wants a future reference for work, the reference will land on my desk :)

7. Dr Wacks polish is an excellent final polish, between SMR and wax.

Watch the informing the tax people. If he worked for you, you may not want to get involved with them. The less they know of you the better off you are.

No problems from our side, I work in local government, we have nothing to fear from the tax people but I know he is paid in cash for his 'other' work, it is highly unlikely he has declared this money to the government.

Many years ago, I was a fraud investigator and I worked closely with the various tax departments.

I cannot take on this man but he cannot fight the government.

Did I mention he has requested my help in looking for new work; some days are very satisfying.

It makes me sick to the stomach when this happens. I can almost understand why people steal things but I can never get my head around wilful damage, what's the point

This is maybe a bit sick but if he really is THAT paranoid....no, can't even suggest it Steven and I'm sure there are Autopian rules against giving out people's details...but, hey there's a few thousand Autopians who'd maybe gladly help you here.....just think how paranoid he'd get if he thought people were watching his every move....hehehehe.

Seriously, hope you get your car sorted and gleaming again - IMHO that's the very best way of showing whoever did this that they wasted their time etc!!!

Hey Luke, never thought what sort of damage a PC could do before if in the wrong hands and a bit of brake cleaner.....jeez, this is getting out of hand!
