Aghhhh car keyed

Someone, and I might know who, has keyed the entire length of my car. Straight through to the metal and dented some of the panels.

My suspect, an employee we dismissed a few weeks ago for violence and abusive behaviour. I saw him whilst shopping and 30 minutes later my car is damaged. Cant prove anything but I will inform the police.

The perfect end to the perfect week

Sorry to hear about your car, I hate it when neandertholic (is that a real word?) people do things like that. Get over it guy, you got let go of because you can't handle yourself, what good is it going to do for you to vandalize somebody's car.

Let me get my baseball bat, I'll be there in a few hours...

What is strange is that if it is this ex-employee, I know where he lives and I am involved in his appeals hearing.

The first time I met him he was carrying an axe :scared He is a bodybuilder and a doorman (not sure what the American version is called. Someone who stands in doorways to clubs etc and deals with any violence).

My guess is that the repair will cost more than the value of my car, so I might lose my car as I cannot afford to fix it from my own pocket. Agghhhhhh :angry

Doorman in the US is called a bouncer.

i know your pain man, i have had my car keyed in the past. The thing that sucks is if you have no proof then it gets a little hard to prove. Do you have any cameras in the area that may have got it on tape. THen you have your proof, and when you have proof you can get your anger out on that ******* with your fist.

I checked with the shop, no cameras in the car park, which is disappointing as most areas in this city are covered by a camera.

I will move on, but not this weekend.

My thoughts exactly. When I interviwed him, he had the axe in his hand during the entire (home) meeting. This was a very short meeting.

Steven, sorry to hear this news :(

I'm sure the guy will get what he deserves at some point :angry

I'm wondering why you employed someone who held onto an axe during an interview.

Wouldn't you hire a man with an axe in his hand in your house!?!

I think I would be a little afraid to tell him no!!!!!

Maybe we could use the humm-vee in my Avatar!

Sorry to hear about that, :( I've owned various cars over the years that have been vandalised for no reason and know how crappy it feels. You take care of something and then people just destroy it.

What about paintless dent removal, and also calling a company like Chipsaway to fix the scratches?

Why did you hire him to begin with? The whole axe thing seems just a bit odd.

Sorry to hear about that Lowejackson there is no more cowardly act than keying a person's car. :angry I believe in karma...what goes around comes around...that SOB will get his!!

Sorry to hear this happened to you Steven.... :(

I hope next week is blissfully uneventful. Good luck with sorting this all out, and just remember:

He has no friends and probably enjoys hurting small animals!

Thanks guys.

The interview, was not a job interview it was part of our absence management procedure. We visit employees at home when they have been absent for more than 28 days. We visit even quicker when they claim stress. This employee is a manager who by sheer coincidence had just attended a stress training workshop

I hope Karma is at work here.

I washed the car late last night and checked the scratches this morning. It looks even worse. The entire object used to scratch the paint has created a continuous dent in all the panels. This is probably going to cost a lot more than I thought

How do you best a body-builder who carries an ax? Well if the car is going to need body work anyway, you could just get the front bumper repaired at the same time.

real sorry to hear about the incident, it seems like its in "fashion" for people to destroy the property of others, low lives.
