again with fallout remover(acetic acid if im correct)
Hey all, i've discussed the use of *liquid fallout removers* with local detailling supply store owners, and they said fallout out removers are excellent at removing stuff that the eye cant see, as well as rust spots that you can see. Those rust spots, at least in Canada seems to colllect on the lower part of door panels(brake dust mostly i guess). Ive been told *fallout removers* are mainly used to remove rail dust car gets from transport.
I'm in a big dillema for many days, as i a bit mixed up about clay, fallout removers(which is acetic acid i think)..............i dont know which one to use : local supplier told me to use acid(fallout remover) as it will definately get everything in the paint finish, exept of course acid rain damage. The guy is honest as he doesnt even sell fallout removers, but used to, and told me it does a great job, but it goes without saying that if you leave it on for half a day, its bye bye paint !
I never see mentioned here, so i wonder, anyone use it ? If so, should it be used all over the car ? which part do you use that on ?, and last but not least is it that safe, or it could fade my paint finish after some time it s been applied ?
Mind you i know that i will have to wash the car with car soap right after i used it, to neutralize the paint as car soap is alkaline.
As a second choice there s clay, but ive been told clay will only remove stuffs my eyes can see, and most probably will just break off the tips of those embedded metal particles. Ive also been told to use Castrol *super clean* ive been told it removes 90% of all brake dust rust spots, but i figured one is better to use the real thing instead of degreaser..........................so basically i dont know what would be best : first i want to do a good job of removing those metal particles, and second i sure dont want to damage my car s finish, so it s clear i need help
Best regards to all
