AG SRP via PC - which pad?

If I was using it, for the SRP I'd use the green pad and maybe if I used the EGP, then I'd use the blue finishing pad. For the SRP, personally, I would apply to the panel on speed 3, then work the polish in on speed 5 till it was ready to remove.

Autopia is a great place, I ordered a few supplies last Monday and it arrive on Friday !!!!, quicker than 'Tooled-Up' have taken to deliver my rigger boots and overalls (which still have not arrived !)
I've never tried the AG range by PC, may give it a try, let us know how you get on with it.

No, the green pad will be fine (but there is no reason why you could not use the SRP with the softer blue pad, going with the least abrasive option first) - I've used the green pad with great success. But if you are in doubt, see if you can get a spare body panel to practice on, to get to grips with the PC.
The more you use the PC, the more comfortable and better you will become with it.
On a side note, I thought the orange pad would take paint off it was so hard, but I used it on my Dad's car recently with Meg's #80 and the paint came up a treat.
With regards to waxing, I prefer to do this my hand and apply with the Meg's yellow round sponges, as I find that Carnauba waxes gum up the pad too much.....
Ps, was there a leaflet inside the Sonus pad box, this was very useful as it describes whay and how each pad should be used and with what products :up

The green pad has a touch of 'bite' to it (its still very gentle though), and since you are only using a very very mild polish in SRP I would probably go with the blue pad. In that kit, which I believe is the same kit I got, the Orange Green and Blue Sonus pads are aggressive from most to least in that order.
Use the Blue pad Gkerr4, and enjoy your PC
My other suggestion would be to apply the P21s by hand, one panel at a time, don't let it haze, simply wipe on and wipe off.

Use the SRP with a mild polishing pad, but not a really fine finishing pad. It's not quite thin enough and IMO it'd gum up some finishing pads (does work OK with a Cyclo white finishing pad though, but that's not the softest thing in the world). Any pad that's mild enough not to cause micromarring should work fine. Sounds like the green pad is what you want here.
A finishing pad is what you want for the #16 (like Axe, I wouldn't do P21s by machine). Work the #16 at around 4-4.5 and try to spread it out/cover as much area as possible. I *always* apply #16 by machine, works great as long as you do remember to put it on *THIN*.
Heh heh, applying SRP and #16 by machine is one of the most enjoyable parts of detailing for me. Let the SRP cure for at least overnight (and preferably for 24 hours) before you apply the #16.
