after wet sanding....

what pads and combos to use after 3000 (2000 then 3000 abralon) sanding paper on a black car, which i will be doing soon. I have m105, m205, SIP. also all kids of lake country pads+purple foam wool pad and rotary makita. ohh and i also have 85rd
 
No that whatever you use, FRICTION will play a major role bringing the panel up to a glass brilliance! Good luck! Check your results outside in the Sun after polishing. Ben

M105 with the PFW pad will take care of it via rotary or flex, as far as PC then surbuff pads will help a lot and the Kevin brown method is a must.

You can use them but they are not very good. 3M or Meguiars work very well. I used to use Schlegel a lot back in the day too and thought they were good for the money.



One pad is a cutting and the other is finishing that come with the 9227C
