After Rain...

Usually after rain, there will be a few large water beads on the hood, roof and boot. If I don't wash and dry the car, can I use cloth to blot those large water beads to dry? The reason I want to remove those water beads is to prevent water spots after it dries up. Please input your comment, thanks!

PL bear in mind that after a rain, your paintwork could be covered by a layer of dirt. Run your finger through your paint and you may be able to write something on your paint. If that's the case, then blotting could create ugly marks, smudges and stains.

However, if your car is really clean but wet, then I supposed there's no harm in blotting away those droplets.

If your tap water is not too hard, I would just rinse it off with that.

Water spots from rain usually is either acid rain damage or dirty water that has dried up. Both are worse than (most) tap water spots if they dry out, so I think that's the lesser of two evils.
