after Market Brake pads

if you dont get brake dust, are the pads then over wearing your rotors? one or the other has to wear for you to stop and pads are cheaper than rotors..

just a thought.

That's probably the case with my Metal Matrix pads on the stock Nissan Rotors. I have been trying to find some better rotors for the Maxima with no luck. I am waiting for the Brembo Blanks to come out for the '02-'03 Maxima.

I just put some Powerslot rotors on my '99 Sentra SE. I used Hawk HPS pads for the front and Remsa Gold pads for the rear. The fronts are staying pretty dustfree, especially compared to stock. The rears are actually giving off more brake dust than the front, so either it was the bedding process for the back or the Remsa just dust that badly. My OEM rears didn't give off nearly as much.

I have Sillen crossed drilled rotors on my car with Stillem metal matrix pad. They stop on a dime, but the brake dust is horrible! I am going to purchase EBC next time. I hear there is little brake dust with those pads.
