after claying, and before zaino'ing: need feedback

was hoping that someone could answer/clarify some things for me, regarding detailing.

i have a spectra blue mica lexus gs400. the paint needs some attention in the form of swirls/scratches. i would say my swirls/scratches are comparable to these:

i think i understand the basic process of detailing the car, but i do have some questions/concerns:

i'm gonna dawn wash the car, then clay the car, then wash again.

then i need to polish, right? now, i noted p21s gepc as a good product to use. i don't know exactly what this is, but i know i've seen p21 a lot on clublexus over the last couple years, so, i'd imagine it's a good product. however, in my research, i also noted meguiars fine-cut, and medium cleaners (depending on severity). should i get one or the other? both? also, i've seen menzerna product mentioned as well. any major differences between the three?

another concern of mine is the whole pc vs hand thing. i've never used a pc before. reeeeally worried about ruining my paint, and i don't know how justified i am with my concerns. part of me just wants to be safe and just use the product by hand. but, if the difference between the two is gonna be pretty substantial then, by all means, i'd use the pc. (i have printed the how-to off autopia, regarding pc use, just in case i happen to go that route). what do you think?

with regard to the swirl removal process: so, after i remove the product, i should spray down the entire car with zaino detailing spray, before moving on, to remove any dust or oils?

i also just came across a couple other things:

zaino z-cs vs z2/z5. one, the other, or both?

z8 grand finale vs z6 detail spray. is it necessary to get both?

z-pc- can i use this instead of the above listed possibilites for swirl removal?

finally, what are your thoughts on z8 grand finale spray seal?

thanks for your time.

There is no way you will get those out by hand.

Get a PC and try the ZPC with a orange pad, then ZAIO with a white pad.

A Z6 wipedown is always nice before Z2/5pro or CS.

Actually I would get:

ZPC- remove swirls

ZAIO- use after ZPC as a base for Z2pro

Z6 wipedown-remove any dust

Z2pro-really makes the flake pop and excellent protection

Z6 wipedown-just to make sure all the Z2pro has been removed.

ZCS-will extend durability even more and provide some extra gloss.

Z8-icing on top of the cake. Use it once a month.

Z7 is a very nice carwash.

Z-9/10 works great on the leather.

Z-16 for the tires is nice as well- Scrub the tires well first.

can you explain to me what an orange pad and a white pad are? i'd imagine it's for the pc but, is there a particular brand?

When I talk about orange and white pad, I am refering to what colors Lake Country uses. Other vendors pads are also LCs, but they may call them something else.
