after #9, 50/50 mix of alcohol/water require?

quick question, after use of #9, you can use 50/50 mix of alcohol/water to check if the swirls are gone or not. but should I just car wash or move on to next step (SEC)?



I think the car wash is not necessary but jsut want to make sure.
 
50/50 is used to see if swirls were just filled in. But since your using #9 you should be able to see if your removing the swirls under a good light.
 
Not a requirement, but helps to check if your really removed the swirlmarks.



You don't have to wash the car again, just go to your next step.
 
thanks guys, I didn't use 50/50 mix and just went to SEC.



However I wasn't satisfied with the result.

It was 2nd time to try DACP with CMA cutting pad. and I used #9 with Meg's Polishing pad after DACP but I could still see the swirls under the direct sun. so pretty much I gave up. They are probably under the clear coating. or I need more stronger than DACP.



after #9, I used SEC with CMA polishing pad and followed by S100 with hand. As you can guess, SEC&S100 give awesome result. but again I can still see some swirls under the sun light.

I tried to take the picture of swirls but they weren't on the pictures.
