After 19-1/2 weeks, I reached my weight goal.

Outstanding Bill.
I'm very happy to hear your success story. That's awesome.
I've just started working out and dieting myself, after tipping the scales at 227lbs. My goal is to be at 190ish

Good job, keep it up, or should I say...keep it down! :notworthy:

What an amazing story there Bill. I'm 32 and have left myself go. I used to be a pretty athleticlly built guy im my early 20's and since with the marriage, kids, business, I weigh 232 and I must say I have just sat here for about 15 minutes thinking on what I need to do to change things. Thank you for sharing this Bill

I know exactly what you are talking about.

When I got married 30 years ago, I was 6-4 and 200 pounds. Very athletic. Ran 10k's, worked out at the gym, a couple triathelons every year. Pretty ripped and quite the stud.

Then we had 4 sons, raised them, coached them in baseball and basketball for 20 years, worked for 30 years, stopped working out, gorged myself with bad food and got fat.

What about being healthy?
What about self-respect?

I got to the point where the dark-colored clothes couldn't hide it anymore.

I now feel 20 years younger than I did 6 months ago.:Dancing Dot:

Awesome news congrads on the huge success. I need to loose a lot of weight myself. I lost 80lbs back 0 yrs ago and since I gained it lost half gained lost some. Now I just can not seem to find my motivation to keep going. I was goin to the gym at 430am workin from 630 to 6 come home n have time with kids n wife missed one day 8 months ago and have not gotten back to the routine.

Wow, that's GREAT.

Went through KC a couple times a week ago. Almost called you to ask if you wanted to get some ribs...guess I know what the answer would have been!

Regards,
GEWB

Haha.... hey, you should have let me know! Ribs are my favorite food of all time!

So far, I'm maintaining. 2 weeks past my goal date and I've lost 3 more pounds. 222 and feeling great.

(Had a rack of Gates Ribs this weekend..... Oh my gosh..... Let's do it next time!:D)

Fantastic, keep it up!

Hope to be back through KC in late October. We stay on the south end at the Drury (I435 and Metcalf in Overland Park) so Jack Stax is just up the street. Tried Hayward's and didn't like it - too dry, not enough meat, didn't care for the sauce.

Jack Stack is excellent. Haywards, not my taste. Rosedale's is also a good choice!
