Ok, I do not mind if you push your own company in this thread here because I am looking around where to get a nice load of affordable microfiber. I did two cars in a row yesterday only to find myself left with only 2 cobra shamrocks left. I like them because they are so large but a tad pricy if I need 2-3 a car.

What would you recommend buying in bulk for the best all around MF. It probably will only be used for buffing (and mind you I never do a car worth over 20k, so it doesn't have to be like insane stuff). Just need something affordable to build my collection. I am looking to get somewhere between 6-12 more MF's.

Go down to target and get some Vroom MF they are pretty decent for the price. I have alot of them and use them to take off polish. I use plusher high-end ones to take off wax's and QDing. Viking is another brand that is pretty decent.

I have purchased everything from the costco 12 pack to Auto Spa Double Sided. The prices have ranfged from 1.00/each to 7.99 each. The costco/BJ's/Target ones are OK, and did not scratch the CD I trialed them on but after a few washes they go a little flat and "not so soft". My Auto Spa have been washed 15 plus times and you cant tell they are not new. I picked up some MF from PoorBoys that I have washed a few times and they seem to be great so far. Cheaper than the AutoSpa (Unless you catch a sale) and very good.

Pay attention to corners, tags and edges. These are a reas that can cause potential marring to the finish. Use a CD to test for scratching. if it scratches a CD it will scratch your car. Also for whatever reason, the tags to some of the cheaper MF are sewn in with fishing line and if you remove the tag, take a minute to get the clear nylon thread out as well.

You need to decide if you weant to spend a little often or a little and invest. I have all my cheaper MF around for Dirty Jobs.
