Advise on best products for blue car

Well it’s time for “Spring Clean Up”. My car is a medium blue (not quite navy blue). Paint is in very good condition (it’s only a year old). There is some minor marring primarily from natural course of driving and I’m sure partially from the snow brush (got to love Ohio winters).

I have a pretty extensive inventory of PB products (PP, PWC, SSR1, SSR2, SSR2.5, EX, EX-P). I’m looking for some recommendations as to anyone’s favorite combination with these products. I intend to use Nattys Blue as my LSP in a week or so.

Thanks

P.S. I know it's not a PB product but i also have some Vanilla Moose.

Once you remove the minor marring go with PWC+VM+EX-P+Natty's Blue! You won't be disappointed!:passout:

I'd go with SSR2.5 with a polishing pad, if needed where the snow brush caused marring, then SSR1 with a finishing pad, PwC by hand, EX by hand, Natty's Blue ..this combo = Super Deep and Wet :bigups
Then again if you want it a bit brighter and wet, substitiute EX-P for EX and apply PwC, EX-P with a finishing pad and then apply Natty's ;) :10:

It’s my understanding that it’s best to let the EX or EX-P cure for at least 24 hours before topping with Natty’s Blue or any other LSP. I will not be able to apply until the following weekend.

I know will obviously need to wash the vehicle next week before applying Natty’s should I take any other steps?

Steve might want to respond to this, but I would go over the vehicle with Spray and Wipe after washing to remove any possible water or soap residue. This will give as clean of a surface as possible to add the LSP

If you are planning on doing the car again before the end of the summer, 4-6 hours will suffice before the Natty's, if not, then either a wash or wipe down with Spray and Wipe will be good:bigups

yup, that's a good practice as soap residue can easily leave a haze and reduce clarity:)

We’ll it rained all day. Luckily it wasn’t to hard and I have a garage. I went with SSR1, PWC, and EX-P all applied by PC.

Turn out great. I’ve very pleased. I will attempt to apply Natty’s Blue this weekend. I’m kind of excited. First time using this product.

Another bit by the bug of Steve's line-up...you really can't go wrong...if you have the time and feel like it...put down two coats of EX or EX-P ....It helps to make sure the car is coated evenly...then after the cure time....Natty's.....the neighbors will be asking you to do their cars

gonna add this thread to my list of detail favorites. Both of my vehicles are blue. My 05 jetta is a bright blue, called blue lagoon. My 98 f150 is a deeper metallic blue, called moonlight blue.
