I use ONR as my weekly wash unless the car is REALLY dirty, in which case, the foam gun and wash soaps come out.
- I find ONR to be much quicker to use than a traditional wash, and with less water that gets into cracks and crevices
- I've tried it with Sheepskin Mitts, Chenille Mitts, Grout Sponges, MF towels, and Sponges like these:
All seem to work well, but I give the edge to the MF sponges
- I still keep a rinse bucket handy, squeezing and wiping the sponges to remove dirt
- I found no real benefit/difference to adding a little QD to the ONR wash mix, not that it doesn't help, just no real benefit noticed.
- It helps to use a bug sprayer filled with pre-mixed ONR as a pre-soak
- I don't use ONR on wheels, but I'm sure it would work fine.
- I wash one panel, then dry with a WW.
Give it a try, I was skeptical about it at first, but it has impressed me with every wash. I have tried it in full sun with no ill effects, and it wipes away very cleanly. Good luck, and let us know how it works for you.
