Advice/recommendation for a newbie?

Using off-the-shelf Meguiar's/Mothers products, I polished and waxed my wife's Pathfinder today.
As you can see by the picture below, I got some wax on the plastic door handle and some other plastic exterior trim. It doesn't come off easy.
Whats the solution for this? What product do you use to clean black plastic pieces? There's also a black plastic bumper step and the side step bars.

Thanks!

accourding to properautocare.com black again will melt this wax/polish away. it wont fix color fading though. they said it in there words,i in mine.

If you try rubbing a pink eraser on those areas it may work. It only seems to work on certain waxes and certain plastics though. If not, a good "wax and tar remover" will get it out. If you are looking for off the shelf, 3M sells a good one. It is an aerosol can and only costs a couple bucks. You should be able to find it at Walmart, AutoZone, Advance, etc... Spray it on a towel or brush and then rub/scrub the areas with wax. Should do the trick.

Steve,
Never heard of people using white eraser. Does it really matter what color the eraser is?

You are trying to get rid of white residue so it seems like you should use a white eraser ... if it is orange use an orange eraser ... etc ................... :lmfao :lmfao :lmfao
