Advice on sealant

UPGP is great stuff. Also put it on your clean wheels and the brake dust will fall off while the wheels look awesome from the glossy finish the UPGP gives them.

Very easy WOWA. Just don't use too much. Less is better.

no fear uttgp is just as easy to use.

In the one time I have used it, one week ago on the exterior trim of my S2000, I did not find it easeir to use than the UPGP. UPGP is spray upon a microfiber pad and then spread upon the paint surface. UTTGP is poured out of the bottle upon the applicator. A little goes a long way, but I found it difficult not to apply too much. I welcome recommendations on how to apply Ultima Tire and Trim Guard rightly.

I read Jetseal did not last as long as others.

Well it's seems it's between UPGP and Wolfgang 3.0. Maybe I'll buy both of them...

Depends on how long you're looking for a product to last. In a sealant test not long ago, Jetseal109 lasted 4 months in extreme conditions along with Zaino, Wolfgang, and a couple other sealants. Not sure why the test was concluded after only 4 months?

If you're looking for a product that will "last longer" than any other sealant go with Zaino.

I would go with UPGP.

Its extremely easy to use, Looks great on paint, Works good on trim, and (out of what I've used so far) has the best enviromental protection. Haven't had any etching since I began to use this stuff.

While UPGP is a breeze to use, UTTGP is not. UTTGP is a great product for textured plastic trim and rubber. Two coats will last for months.

However, it is not easy to apply, but I find it is worth it given how long it lasts.

It does pour out of the bottle. I have one of the old small sample bottles that is better and I put some in there from the big bottle for use. I would suggest looking around for another type of bottle that will only allow a little to come out at once. As you know, you only need a little and it is not cheap either. You end up wasting a lot of product with the big bottle when applying it to the applicator sponge they give you.

Also, it does not come off paint near you trim that easily. Only apply when the car is perfectly clean so you can buff off the excess UTTGP with a MF without marring. Taping might help, but I have never bothered.

Excellent product for providing protection and sheen to plastic and rubber for months and with no streaking in the rain, but not real easy on applying like UPGP.

Still, it is my go-to product for textured plastic trim and rubber trim.

I was somewhat reluctant to try UPGP but it was one of the few products that really made me think "wow".

I can apply a coat of it quicker than I can QD a car, and the next day it looks awesome. Great clarity, and shine. I do experience some streaking but thats from overapplication.

Ive used it many times and the bottle still looks full. Try it!

they must have chnaged something because my uttgp has a sprayer just like upgp. also came with a foam sponge to use just spray on the sponge and apply. i have also used mf covered sponge similar to the one that come with upgp with good results. now that they have changed to pouring uttgp on the applicator i can see the problems you would experience. i would try and find a small sprayer like the one on the upgp and try applying it in a similar manner. that the method i've been using with great success.

UPGP is my favorite as it is pobably the easiest sealent i have ever used.I use it over danase wet glaze and the look is incredible.

UTTGP only comes in a bigger bottle now without the sprayer and it really pours out - even if you are careful. Not a good bottle design.

I just use teh included applicator and rub in. i apply 2 coats. Since I scrub rthe tires with a brush as part of the wash process most of the dressing is removed. The first coat covers the tires and gives a natural new tire look. 2nd cost adds just the right amount of gloss for me. Not wet greasy looking. i have done a 3rd and it is very wet looking. Wipe off excess from wheels immediatly or else it seems to pick up brake dust.

I applied 2-3 coats August of 08 on a new car. It took me through the winter. Most impressive was that nothng sticks to it. Very deep gloss and super easy to apply. i had been underwhelmed with the beading. It does not produce the beads the P21S did but it last 20X longer at least so its worth it for me.

Yeah, the Werkstatt products or the Klasse twins. FWIW, you can get comparable longevity from Collinite's 476S/#885 product.
