Advice on '63 Corvette (dreaming)

geekysteve,

It looks like you have Zaino, Klasse, and Blackfire in your shelf there. How about a product review/comparison on those products going head to head? It would be great to read your opinions.

Stay tuned to thewaxtest.com for results. It's going to be one heckuva test!

We'll be starting the tests when the weather starts to cooperate with us.

How quickly these things accumulate....

Zymol Estate Glazes Vintage, Atlantique & Destiny are kept refrigerated all the time until ready to use.

Forum7, your collection is amazing!

Here's my little collection (besides the unimportant ones in the garage). Should have Souveran added to it later this week. ;)

I see Geekysteve has TWO black cases and a Black bucket. Would those be Zymol products I wonder?

I have been trying to get one of those cases from Zymol but at $200 per case, I think I will wait a while.

Test all the crap now! Bad weather is the best test for durability - of course, it's not very good for the fingers, but hey - that's why you've got ten of them.. :)

yeah I froze my fingers off because I was outside while it was snowing earlier putting dressing on my tires in the driveway...... :p :D

got some mighty strange looks from the neighbors! :bounce :up

SLP don't feel bad. I drove my truck today and will all the snow melting it was a real mess. As soon as I got home I got a bucket out with some warm water and started to wash it down. This with snow and ice all over the driveway.

I could see the neighbors in their house shaking their heads at me. The only problem was that it was too cold to QD..LOL

All I know is that the next time the wife groans about how many detailing products I own, I'm flashing a picture of Forum7's garage there...

Not that it'll help, but at least she'll know I'm not alone :)

Yep, that's the $300 kit from Zymol. The other is one of my PC cases (I ordered a Griot's version a long time ago and kept the case).

Not pictured are the three high $$ Zymol's - Atlantique, Destiny and Vintage. Those just arrived and are sitting in the closet.

I agree, but our last panels were exposed to snow/ice for about 1.5 weeks, and the waxes "died" almost immediately after that, so we're going to wait for at least a week or two of nice weather. Plus, we're planning more things for this test so we're requiring a little additional "ramp-up" time.

I'd hate to think of how much money you've spent on all those great products. Include the Zymol higher priced waxes and you come out with a pretty nice total. I sure wish I had the ability to splurge on more quality car care products. But I need to save! Laters

Hey Forum7,

WOW that is impressive! I notice you're in San Diego. If you ever start thinking about having a garage sale or showing off the cars you use that stuff on, give me a call ;)
