What is the best way to advertise a part time detailing business? I would like to do a few cars during the course of the week in the evenings after work. Word of mouth is just happening. I even went as far as putting an ad in the local yellow pages, have signs in front of my building, and not a darn thing is happening . I don't know how in the world some of you guys do this full time? (I would like to) but I aint gettin no action and I don't think its from lack of effort maybe my area is just not the kind of situation for this kind of service. Please weigh in thanks.

I just did a very short email to some of my parents friends saying its spring and time to get your car detailed. I got 3-4 details from it. Maybe that is something you might try. Also try this:
