Hey guys, been a long time since I posted on here but have always enjoyed reading the incredible wealth of knowledge available as I am an avid weekend warrior. I'm sure this topic has been covered before but most threads I found while searching were years old. I recently (like 2 days ago) took delivery of a 2016 WRX limited in crystal black silica. My previous vehicle was kept in very good shape as I am crazy about a clean car. I had the dealer not do anything to the car. When I arrived at the dealer all the plastic was still on it as I requested. When I took the plastic film off I found that there are lines of what I assume is some type glue from the film all over the vehicle all well as a nasty spot on the hood. I had hoped washing it would remove most of it but it didn't. I also tried some ultimate quick wax but it didn't work either. My question is what can I use that will safely and effectively remove it. I'm terrified of using anything too aggressive as the car is so new. Any advice would be awesome, thanks guys.
