Hi guys I'm sick of seeing damned swirls on my LeMans Blue that the previous owner left behind (thanks) so I've looked and asked around and was suggested this package from Adam's...

Adam's Complete Dual-Action Car Polisher Kit

Adam's Complete Dual Action Car Polishing Kit... it's complete with a 7424XP with 4 velcro back pads and various products... So my question is whether Adams' products are any good (I've been told they are). Only problem is shipping to Australia :grrr

I ordered everything seperate. Got the PCXP from Autogeek for $120 and then got plates, pads, polishes, cleaners, you name it all individually. I had initially looked at that same Adams kit, but for close to $300 I could have gotten twice as much product as what Adams lists from another website. Cheaper polishes in more quantity [m105/205 in 32oz], more pads [8 hydrotech], APC's [megs d103], quick detailers, wash, etc for the same price.

The big 'plus' with the Adam's line is they have made the polishing part puddin' simple - you use the orange stuff (Swirl & Haze Remover) with the orange pad, the white stuff (Fine Machine polish) with the white pad, and the grey stuff (Machine SuperWax - actually a sealant) with the black/grey pad.

This makes it much easier for someone new to polishers and pads. When you get comfortable with the products, pads, and machine you can mix them up a little for different cut levels. After you're past the newbie stage, try other vendor's products and pads, and you'll already have a 6" backing plate.

Their other products work well, but as others have said, comparable products can be found cheaper.

I agree with the other that you may want to add another orange and white pad.

There are Adam's dealers in Australia and New Zealand, if that helps with the shipping.
