Adams Detail Spray

If you have used it tell me your thought's on it. I just ordered some to try even though I have no use for it and I have enough Megs Final Inspection to supply a small country but I like trying products at least once. This is supposed to be the flagship product for Adams.

I think it is a very good QD. I liked it better when it wasn't tinted bright pink (it came in a pink bottle so the fluid looked pink). The tinted stuff can stain counter tops if the bottle leaks or something.

But other than that, easy to use, adds some "pop" and smells nice! It even helped hide very minor marring.

I have been using it for years .My favorite QD leaves a nice finish after a wash and has good antistatic properties . I think you will like it

I have been using it for about three years. In that time I have also tried many others just to see how they work in comparison. I keep returning to Adam's. It just works good and better than most on my windshield.

I'm a huge Detail Spray fan. It is easy to use, doesnt streak and it smells incredible. I use it a lot on windows too. They come out streak free and shiny.

I’ve been hooked on using Adam’s QD since I got a couple samples of it at local car shows 5 years ago.

Currently, it is the only QD I like to use – especially for after weekly washes.

You could buy CG's speed shine. I am NOT saying they are the same product but IMO they smell identical, work identical, look identical. Also a former Adam's distributor told me he would get his orders DROP SHIPPED from PG (I think), the company that produces products for Chemical Guys/Warner Chemical.

Evidence leads me to believe they are the same, but I cannot be 100% sure.

That's what I was lead to believe as well. I will be getting some Speed Shine also for a comparison test between multiple QD's for various task's and my own beta testing against some of the top QD's.

I think it's a very good QD. Of course, you're gonna have people who say it's made by someone else and Adam's puts a label on it. Of course, most of the other boutique stuff is made in super secret labs by the owner and no one else sells or makes anything even remotely close to it.

It doesnt matter to me if Adams makes it in a secret lab or in an outhouse, or if someone makes it for them. I think there is only a hand full of chemical manufacturing plants for most of the products we use anyways. What does matter to me is being up front about it.

I tried making my own products and I have to say that I am far from being a chemist and failed bad. It was a good learning experiance though. I hear what you guys are saying but this is subject has been beat to death so I will leave it alone.

My Detail Spray should arrive today so I will get a chance to check it out. Dont you just love getting packages in the mail lol.

So I recieved my Detail Spray. I QD'd the hell out of everything in sight but the real use will come tommorow. Not bad so far though, and I am impressed with the customer service and packaging. I couldnt help to think that this is what spraying Pepto Bismol on your paint would be like.

heres a comparison i did ...

ok heres a little test i did today. ive been on a q/d kick latley. just got a gallon of adams q/d the other day. today i really got to give it a good test. now keep in mind you cant really tell anything from pics . and this is just my humble opinion:popcorn:heres what i did . the whole trucks been washed . the left side of the hood with the blue q/d is pinnicle. the right side with pink q/d bottle is adams.

after taking alot of looks at the paint work i really feel (pinnicle )has a little more of a glossy look .. maybe because of the carnuaba in it. keep in mind i looked at the paint in a lot of different angles . now for ease of use

Adams q/d is easy as hell/ wipe on wipe off. no streaks!!! very slick. by far easyer then pinnicle q/d.

pinnicle q/d you have to spray on the paint wipe then rebuff to an awesome glossy shine!!! does take a little extra elbow grease but worth it . in my opinion.. so in conclusion. adams great great q/d i will continue to use it . for quick washes. but pinnicle has alittle something extra. more of a glossy look. hers a couple pics enjoy..

hope you guys enjoyed this little test.

Nice! That's pretty much what Im doing today and started to do yesterday. One of my personal test's for a QD is using it on a vehicle that has never been detailed or may not have any wax on it while still being newer and not torn up. I also have 12 work vehicles available with reflective lettering in this same condition and they are all test monkeys lol.

I did this same test with Megs UQD and had very nice results. Most otc QD's have not stacked up as well and I think the Adams is going to do well based on the little I did yesterday.
