Adam's Clear Polish

I have a bottle of Adam's clear polish which I don't use. I am nearly out of the Adam's fine machine polish which is probably my favourite product. I know the Clear polish has a specific purpose but I was told it it is basically fine machine polish repackaged. Can anyone tell me this is true and/or if it is ok to use the Clear polish on paint. Thanks.
 
I don't believe they are the same. Adam's discontinued the Clear polish and recommend FMP in it's place. The Clear polish is probably ok on the paint, but I do not think it will give the same results.

Thanks for the reply. They have the same look, feel, color and smell which is why I asked.

I have since done a bit more digging and have found out they are infact the same product and just repackaged.
