Acura NSX in Black, hate this car

Great work Mike! Those are pretty rare cars in these parts, I think I`ve only seen one in person.

I see you got the snowstorm as well, heh!

Great work. Those cars are so sweet.

I remember when they first came out. There was nothing like it on the road. They still look awesome....

Dschribs !

YES !!! The NSX was an amazing car when it first arrived !!! And they were around $ 85,000 I believe, right ??
And the price stayed that way for years, before they got all bloated and digitized, etc...

I have a friend who has been selling Honda/Acura`s for about 50 years now, and he has I believe, 3 of these... :) I know... Who has 3 NSX`s ??? :)

Thanks guys! That paint is so sensitive I don’t think anything can help!

Mike,
Another Superb Job !!! You Killed It !!!

So, I assume the soft paint got too warm, hot, etc., and then sticky ?

Thank you for all that awesome work, and then all that time to photograph, edit, write up, and post it ! Thanks to your Sweetheart as well !!

Thanks so much! The paint that people call sticky is not because of heat. It is because of the excess of paint residue. So you need to clean the pads after every pass and shrink your work area. I’m not that smart! Just fortunately got to spend time with Kevin Brown and Rod Kraft.

Mike,
Oh, so its single stage paint then ? I remember them using single stage paint back in the early 90`s.. Yeah, that would load up pads really quick - now we remember why we tell everyone - you need a lot of pads - :)

Mike, thanks for sharing and validating my suffering of owning a berlina black s2000 for the last 11 years. I love the car and mine is a garage queen, but the paint gets scratches if you look at it the wrong way. I found the BOSS creams work great on this paint and use them myself. My current regimen on the car this year was perfecting cream, Prima Amigo and Natty`s black paste wax to top it off. I`m not sure how popular the prima line is these days, but before the BOSS creams that was the only thing I could use on this car to get the results I was looking for. Nice work on the NSX!
